A few weeks ago we noticed something was happening to the wreath hanging on our front door. It was begining to accumulate sticks and branches......behold the birds nest. Most people hate haveing a bird take over their front door, but we never use our front door so i love it!
Here are a couple of pictures of the tulips and daffodills in my front yard.
A month or two ago Jake and i headed down to St. George for a break. It was nice to get away and we had a chance to visit his grandparents that live down there. Grandma and Grandpa Ferguson are the funniest little couple ever
Also a few months ago my good friend Jani tied the knot. We are so excited and happy for Jani and Jeremey. The make the perfect couple and i know they will have a wonderful life together. My prediction is that they will have a bunch of kids and probably at least one set of twins.
The next couple of pictures were taken at the Heiner/Flammer wedding dinner where Jake played the piano. Jake loves playing the piano but he hardly ever gets a chance to. If anyone is looking for someone to play at their wedding or for any other occassion, he would love to assist you.
A while ago Jake's cousin Katie and her husband Eric asked us to watch their four kids for the day while they went to a wedding, all i can say is wow! I love these kids to death but wow they are exhausting. I don't know how Katie does it, she is pregnant with her 5th and still manages to keep her kids entertained every day. And oh ya, she has twins so all of her kids are really close together in age. I had to put this picture up. It is a picture of Elsie trying on my high heels, she looked so cute! Elsie and i had so much fun that day, we painted fingernails, played find the cards i hid all over the bedroom and of course dress up.

how exciting! we love washington d.c. my favorite place is mount vernon (george washington's home). scott wanted to go to the fbi headquarters but it was closed and if its open for tours, i hear its really cool. also the holocaust museum is really cool, but you have to reserve your tickets in advance (they're free though). the best part about d.c. is that most of the museums are free. i have been there twice, so email me if you need more suggestions! mattie.j.russell@gmail.com
oh, and don't rent a car if you're just planning on staying in d.c. our hotel charged us $25 a day to park!
Your flowers look awesome, you are taking after your mother. Very impressed. I'll pay you to come do mine next year haha!
Beautiful Flowers Kody! You're so talented! I love that the bird took over your wreath! Looks like lots of fun! You have inspired me to do something floral for our little front porch. I love flowers! The tulips everywhere make me smile!
New post dear friend? Please, I check it all the time, and I'm constantly disappointed.
I know your summer hasn't been uneventful. So come now, dish the goods!
