House

This news is way late but also way exciting so i thought i would post it.

Jake and i bought a house in Kaysville last March. The house is as old as I am but it has been updated and i love it. We have so many ideas for things we want to do to the house and with how much we love our ward we will probably be able to do everything on our wishlist. Jake and i love family so much we decided to move into a ward where we were related to someone. Katie and Eric Morgan, Jakes aunt and uncle, live a couple streets away and we love having them in our ward because every once in awhile we get invited over for homemade pizza night!

Jake and i always know when something in our life is meant to be and this house was one of those occasions. We had been looking at houses and apartments for quite some time and when we found this house i knew it would be ours. Jake wasn't so sure but he did agree to go look at it.

We didn't want to involve realtors so we drove over to this house and Jake decided he would just go ask the people if we could look inside even though it was a weekend night. After Jake walked inside and had been gone for 10 minutes without coming to get me i got nervous and walked up to the door. It turned out Jake knew the couple and the husband was brothers to jake's aunt that married into the family. After looking through their messy house without a realtor, Jake and i decided to put in an offer. The house was listed for more then we wanted, or Jake was willing to go, so we put in a price we thought was fair. The sellers countered and we countered back with an offer that we were not willing to budge on. I told their realtor that he had to make it happen and i had faith in him. Pretty soon later we got word that they accepted the offer with much hesitation because it was lower then they wanted.

However from there things were so smooth sailing that we moved in like 3 weeks after we first saw the house. Everything came together so smooth and i know it was because we are suppose to be in this house and i feel so lucky to be in such an amazing neighborhood and have such great neighbors. Everyone needs to move up by us!
