This Christmas we had a lot to be grateful for:
1 No school
2 Jake graduating
3 Spending lots of time with family and friends
4 Presents
5 giving
and many more but you guys get the drift.
This Christmas we decided to throw an ugly sweater party which was hilarious. EVERYONE wore ugly sweaters and the winner was Chad whose sweater had horses on it with little string tails coming out of the sweater. We got good laughs out of it.
We had a white elephant gift exchange where Michelle got a blow up doll and Jared got High School Musical socks. We enjoyed two different kinds of soups, salad, and lots of treats. After our exciting game we all played Rock Band for way too long and just caught up on everyones lives.
For Christmas Jake and i decided to keep it small so we just got each other a couple of gifts and then a leather rocking chair recliner from our parents which we are both really excited about. The recliner may not match or family room furniture but i swear it was a good investment. Jake spoiled me and got me the silver juicy bracelet i had been eyeing which now allows me to switch it up between silver and gold. He also gave me some stuff from Bath and Body and a way nice hat that i hope i don't ruin like i did my last one. I got Jake his Donald Trump blue shirt with white collars he has been dying to have for year now and i made him this way cute cowboy blanket that i think i have used more then him already!
I love Christmas so much but as soon as it is over it is OVER for me. I took down all of our decorations the day after Christmas and put my regular decorations back up.
For New Years i have made many New Years Resolutions but i already haven't done so good and keeping them. I guess i will keep workinging on it and hopefully at the end of the year i will be a better person then i am today.
On New Years Eve we went to my bosses house for a big party and had so much fun thinking of all the memories we have from when we lived there. We were able to play a couple games of skee ball, where Jake was dissappointed to find they had put in a new machine and covered up the high score he had posted on the wall.
My favorite memory from living at the Stuarts was when Jake and I got a sudden urge to play a couple games at 2 in the morning so we went to the game room for a few rounds of pinball. Little did we know Tom would come down to turn on the ice melt for the driveway and when he went looked in the game room to see what all the ruckus was he found us. Suprise, Suprise. Boy are we grateful though that the Stuarts gave us that opportunity to live in their apartment while we worked hard to save what little money we were making.
